On the beach you will see the azure sea sparkles and when you go inland you will find a painter’s palette in the hilly landscape of golden sunflowers and cornfields, silver-green olive trees and sand-coloured villages. A short distance away you will arrive in the spectacular Sibillini mountains where the red poppies and purple blue cornflowers welcome you. Fermo

Fermo is the capital of our province, located atop a hill, 10 km from the sea. The view from the cathedral over the region is amazing here. The cathedral itself is certainly worth a visit. The squares and streets invite you to enjoy the authentic Italian life, restaurants and bars galore for hours! In July and August, Thursday evenings are a real attraction with the antique market on Piazza del Popolo.

Porto San Giorgio en San Benedetto del Tronto

Here lies a lovely beach on the Adriatic sea waiting to enjoy. Beach and eateries abound along the palm tree-lined promenade. Furthermore, this seaside resort is also very suitable for shopping in the narrow shopping streets.

Lago Di Fiastra

This reservoir in the nature park of Monte Sibillini has on the dam the starting point of a nice brisk walk to the Lame Rosse. The reservoir is also very suitable for taking a nice dip in the water in various places or just relaxing in the sun on the beach.

This riverbed with “red rocks” you reach after an hour of walking enjoy nature and the views along the way. After one last steep climb you can rest with your picnic and let all the beauty work on you.

Piano Grande/Castelluccio di Norcia

The colourful flowers and fields with, for example, grown lentils and chickpeas are a feast for the eyes. This area is just in Umbria but is well worth a visit and well worth the walk.

Monte Sibillini

If you like mountains, hiking, mountain biking and skiing in the winter, this mountain range is the ideal place. Hiking trails for everyone’s level are plenty and trails for mountain bikers as well. Ski and snowboard slopes can be found at Sassotetto – Santa Maddalena. 7 Lifts are available here to fully explore the ski area.

Grotte di Frasassi

In the northern half of Le Marche lies this treasure hidden until 1971. The most beautiful caves where you feel very small because of the immense spaces you walk through. A “speleo adventure” is also possible in the cave complex. Climb and scramble! A nice adventure park is nearby. And various walking routes in the area complete the possibilities.
